Welcome to the new and improved Skyward Kick Productions website! Lots of really great stuff has been happening over the past few months; exciting projects, festival wins and some awesome commercial projects. Keep checking this page for all the latest news.

We just finished shooting a music video for Ottawa band 'Hartford'. They were great guys and the video looks like it is going to be amazing. It is being assembled and edited by Marc-Antoine Cuerrier over at Skysix Cinefilm and will be undergoing post production here at Skyward Kicks. It should be available for viewing online shortly after that.

Principal Photography for 'Hyacinth' is underway. Written by Janie Beriault and Directed by Chris Chitaroni. Check back soon for production stills and behind the scenes shots.

Chris Chitaroni's 2009 animated short 'Fallacy of Man' was awarded 2nd place this summer at the 2011 Deframing the Frame festival in New York. This was a very interesting festival which showcased some extremely interesting pieces. The goal of this festival was to foster the development of single author productions. It also had a subversive theme of using media to debunk media. Very interesting stuff. Check out their facebook page for more information.

Jimm Moir has finished writing our first feature film script. The film's title is 'Bytowne' and is the story of a couple of low level Gatineau drug dealers who come into the posession of a tackle box full of money belonging to a rival drug gang. It is still in the early stages of development right now but we are extremely excited to be working on it and have very high hopes for this project.
